Danielle Williams-Forde, MS
I’m a client-led and compassionate therapist who believes therapy should feel safe and supportive; a space where you can be yourself. I draw from a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT and mindfulness to meet you where you are. My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you gain insight, build coping tools, and create lasting changes that fit your life.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is that I genuinely care about the people I work with. I show up as real, honest, and compassionate, creating a space where clients feel supported and understood. I’m an active counselor in session—I’ll ask questions, share feedback, and introduce tools that fit your unique situation. With a wide variety of experience to draw from, I can adapt my approach to meet your needs and help you move toward meaningful change. I especially connect with clients who value a collaborative, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy.
In our first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other. I’ll share a little about myself and how I work as a counselor, and you’ll have the chance to tell me about your background and what brought you to therapy. We’ll go over your intake information, talk through your main concerns, and start clarifying what you’d like to get out of our work together. By the end of the session, we’ll make a plan for next steps.
