I meet with teens and adults who’ve been through a lot – intimate partner or domestic violence, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and the many ways mental health shows up across different identities and life situations. You might be managing patterns that complicate relationships or self-understanding, dealing with immigration stress, cultural or family expectations, or intergenerational pressures. Perhaps you need to sort through your relationship with faith, wrestling with doubt, deepening your conviction, or navigating a religious context that both helps and hurts. Together we will address your challenges at your pace.
In our warm, nonjudgmental, and consistent sessions, we will work together with your consent and in upholding your autonomy and safety at every step. We will use practical tools, such as cognitive strategies to loosen stuck or harsh thoughts; mindfulness and grounding to steady your nervous system, self-soothing skills to help you feel present in your body.
We can also work on relationships, boundaries, self-advocacy, and trust-whether with family, community, faith spaces, or partners. I offer empathy over judgment, practical strategies you can scale to your life, and care that respects your culture, beliefs, and identity. We’ll move one doable step at a time-no pressure, no rush, and no promises I can’t keep.
